Unfortunately this will leave the U.P. open to more destruction by the wolves and this ruling also does little to nothing to reign in the overwhelming power of the NRC/DNR. The bragging by the Scientific Proposal folks made a settlement by the court an inevitable conclusion. The special interest folks need to learn how to bring people together instead of using issues as political sledgehammers. I will be surprised if the special interest groups do not use similar tactics again in the future. Brute force is all they seem to know.

This will be interesting to watch on the National level (now that it has been moved to there) Some pretty big players on that level that have their own agendas on keeping the wolves off the endangered list. This is really not about any hunting season at this point.
