Post spawn bass fishing trip Jim and I did. Finally got around to getting the video done. These things sure do take some time and effort. Hope you guys enjoy them. We did quite well, but had to travel long distances to find the bass that were spread out. We caught multiple species including Pike, Muskie, smallmouth Largemouth, and many were big ones. Hope you enjoy the video if your unable to get out fishing yourself this weekend. Tight lines. Lake Erie, Detroit River, Huron River, Fishing Video

I made it out perch fishing with my son-in-law this past Saturday as well. Located some nice perch from shore. First light bite was best.

My forte is not really bass fishing. I mostly catch them incidentally although if I am in a real rocky area or have enough panfish to clean I will go after the prey species to finish the day. I enjoy eating the smallies over the largemouth but I will keep a couple of the smaller of the species to eat. My method is to clean them as I do northern pike, steelhead and lake trout. I make them into fish nuggets, I know the purists are putting up their noses at this, but I have no complaints at our fish dinners.
Perch and Walleye are the frosting on the cake any chance that I get.
It appears that I will not be able to do any fishing until August so I envy your videos.

I've never been much for eating bass, but have on occassion when they are hooked to bad to make it. Smaller definitley better. The bigger ones have a real strong fishy taste. I have several videos I'll be putting up this winter. Maybe some lakes you fish. Charlevoix, Six Mile, Walloon, and just put one up a couple weeks ago. Hang tight. Ice fishing will be here before you know it.
