The MBH Director made it clear that the MBH wants to take away some more of your opportunities in the outdoors. He stated that it was their belief that crossbows were creating an overharvest of deer therefore they want the archery season split into two seasons one of which would be illegal for crossbows. Obviously he had no legitimate basis for his request at this past week's meeting of the NRC. Remember this MBH head has a seat on the MUCC Board of Directors,
The QDMA also continues its call for statewide MARs. We will have to watch for the next 5-6 months to see if the NRC wants to further violate the Americans with Disabilities ACT, IMO. If you feel outrage as I do contact the NRC, the DNR, and your legislators. The governor gives the impression, to me, of being anti-hunter and anti-disabled so keep the actions of the politicians and their minions in mind as you prepare to vote in the fall.
