One thing that has helped me is having my hands free when using my canes or rollator. There are those cheap lights that clamp onto the lip of the cap for walking into your blind or sitting spot but they are not much good for tracking or for any night time type project. Amazon just had a popular one marked down by nearly one-half so my wife, who has become amazon addicted, ordered one for me. I can't wait to try it out. IF it lives up to the ads, I should be able to do anything including landing aircraft with it, lol. There are many different brands and models out there. Some are online and some at stores. The one my wife bought is rechargeable but there are those with replaceable batteries. I have never used one of these so-called better models so I will have to use this one for a while before I can make a report on it. However having a light that I can use for tracking while still having my hands in control of my balance sounds good to me. www.amazon.com/dp/B074C9D8FK/ref=psdc_3180291_t1_B07DW9QJR8Copy and paste the link to your browser if you want to see it. The link will no longer pull it up for whatever reason.

I've been using one for a while now. They work good. I started with the one that just clipped to the bill of my hat and still use that for archery but I've go two that strap right on my hat. One is rechargeable and the other one has batteries. I like the one with batteries better but both of them are very bright. They do help a lot if you are trying to take your cane in with you.
