That looks like a hot spot to me. Good hunting and have a lot of fun bringing that venison home.

First pic was taken about six hrs. after critter and I tromped all around the area the deer are standing at ,and tromped up and down the trail they are using to come to the oaks. You can tell the deer weren't even bothered by all that human activity and scent in the area. Also found a scrape/scent branch on the trail that is being used ( not rut related). We covered a lot of ground recently trying to find just the right type of oaks (and acorns) the deer are currently feeding on. This place has a lot of activity and happens to be in Cheboygan county so QDM dose not apply!
Set the other game cam up a ways away and set it on time laps............I am not sure if I got it right or not, and didn't have fresh batteries with us so we shall see if it takes pics all evening till morning a min apart! Had to put it in a lesser spot than wanted too because of human traffic in the area and had to try and keep it out of easy sight to any one who passed by.

My great niece (my niece's daughter) took her first deer on the first day of the youth hunt with a crossbow. From the online picture, it appeared to be a young doe. I believe my grandniece is 11. All of the family are very happy for her. The deer hunting tradition continues.
