Field and feathers posted this on another site; "Correct. Yet, you've interpreted it to mean "entire". That's incorrect. As an example, some states have dove hunting regulations that specify shooting hours between noon and five o'clock. This is done to protect doves from over - harvest at their most vulnerable times. It says protect. Not protect entirely. Waterfowl shooting times are meant to protect ducks from over-harvest, and misidentification. It doesn't protect all ducks. Michigan went one step further and defined their protection rate of yearling bucks as "at least 50%". They explained exactly what the protection parameter is. The argument that you're making is simply a false interpretation, and nothing but a strawman. " Drivel. Pure and simple it is snot! Now we are going to quibble about interpretations? When the all of the reports from the MDNR contain all of the qualifiers such as, if, could have, may. might have. etc?? And FNF wants to all of a sudden say this bull s h i t L freaking O freaking L ! ! !

His post today; "Or, maybe he had a crazy stalker named Dale who had the emotional intelligence of a 4 year old? "
Me thinks me hit a sore spot.

mbrewer put it like this about that purveyor of word games and spin: You're parsing is finer than frog hair, three times as long and four times as slippery. That about says it all.
Anyone that wants to or can, please answer this. How can 50% of a species be protected, saved, or aged if no one knows how many of that species exist? The DNR admits that their guesstimates are based on dead deer data and that even that data is biased. I can see no way that this is based on logical scientific established fact. (Apparently the 50% that is not protected are the ones that get smacked by a truck, are the ones that are predator food, are the ones massacred by poachers, are the ones that fall over from severe weather and disease, etc. Boy am I glad that these math geniuses have it figured out right to the very deer that stands outside their office window!) Protecting that supposed age group for another year is just so much political speak meaning don't shoot my deer because it MIGHT be a trophy before I die!

As long as it looks good on paper, all is well. They are looking at yearly harvest trends. They don't want to protect 50% of a living age class. They want to protect 50% of a harvested age class. Statistics don't lie. But they can be perverted.
Interpretations are like anus'. Everyone has one. Some peoples just smell a whole lot worse than others. The bad part is they are oblivious to it.

Doehead, according to some of the experts on the other site, you and I are lower than the stuff that is scraped off of boots in a horse barn. I find that to be a hilarious accusation because they provide all of the smell. I hold my head high. They keep theirs glued to the gutter.

Some people truly believe that they are far superior in every aspect of life than anyone else. And they want everyone else to know it. That seems to be the case here. Me, I know what I am, and the only thing smart about me is this forums name. I can accept that. God doesn't make mistakes. I am proof he has a good sense of humor. I too find it amusing that we are considered so highly by those misguided souls. For an opinion. On deer hunting.
Myself, I have had the same screen name for about 5 yrs. I have been banned from msf for around 4 yrs. They still bring my screen name and real name up on that site, think i am every new poster, and accuse me of stalking. I think I hit more than a few soft spots.
The bottom line is...they have only this site to garner their data on me.
Who is stalking?

I try not to worry about what others think of me.
Simple reason is if someone doesn't like me then in nice words "go away" problem solved.
I consider myself a pretty nice guy.. if someone needs help and I can do it.. I do
So when I tell someone in nice terms to "go away" something went bad wrong and its usually their end

I consider myself a pretty nice guy.. if someone needs help and I can do it.. I do So when I tell someone in nice terms to "go away" something went bad wrong and its usually their end You know, I always hear my dad yelling at me when I was a kid when I f'd up, "what are people going to think (about you jumping off of that bridge, beating that kid up, stealing those apples, lying to that nun, etc, etc etc." It does have a bearing on my outlook.... I don't yell at anybody. I may be an idiot, but I do know when I am not wanted. So I do not try to post on MSF. I am not a as depicted on that site, no matter what the beat is going on at the moment. Come to our annual get together and bake sale and you will see. P.S. The bake sale is communal. I cannot bake enough for everyone!
