A snapshot in time in the never ending job of getting muskrats put up and ready to ship to Canada ! BTW , you can also see some of our apple seedlings growing under florescent lights in the pic.
Don't know if I will get any beaver put up in time to ship this time and have no plans to put up any coon at all this year . Main plan at this time is to get at least 2 freezers emptied to make room for new fur next year !

Boards are all hand made out of basswood starting with cutting the logs in the woods and then sawing them with my brothers mill ( some older ones are not basswood and were made out of salvaged boards ) I still have a lot of blanks and boards to cut blanks out of to make more stretchers. the issue right now is having the time to make them.

When you get up this way to pick up your apple trees I will give you some boards if you want. You are well qualified to make your own stretchers from what projects I have seen you post on here

Well got all the rats I could find in the freezers . Around 720 rats a handful of mink and a couple coon ready to go on the NAFA truck tomorrow morning . Will probably be the only fur I send up this year as I got so much going on and fur is not worth a whole lot right now. At least I think there will be room in the freezers for any beaver I may trap yet this year and for rats next year. Forgot to take a pick of them all before bagging them up

I have the patterns and hopefully will be ready to do this after turkey season.. I need to make a trip north. My brother works on generac generators and I have 2 portables not producing voltage.. so I need to get them to him as I'm building another raised shack on telephone poles for hunting this spring/summer and need portable power
