My property has nothing to do with it, you asked what I suggested, I suggested they put out an honest report. You see Tom, once they put out dishonest data, no matter if the outcome was changed or not, everything they put out henceforth is suspect. The outcome may or may not be changed, but it is subject to criticism. Much like a trespasser, it doesn't matter if he steps one foot or one mile over the property line, he is still a trespasser. So sad. Collusion, strawman arguments, and conspiracy theories are all that's left when one loses their argument. For a few of you guys, the Mother Mary herself could compile the data and you still wouldn't believe it because you disagree with the outcome. Any remotely relevent arguments against APR's have been exhausted. Over the past 15 years, the harvest reports have come out between early June and mid July. The last few, including the current report, have come out in early to mid July. The fact that anyone would suggest that our DNR would manipulate the data is absurd and irresponsible. "No, actually. I am going to tell you right up front that you have crossed the line on this and need to step back over to the other side fullthrottle . There has been no deflection by Hartman . Jimmer or Doehead . There has been no joke or comparison with regard to those with special needs by Doeheads post.
The comparison was to those that have no clue to what it takes to be an effective volunteer , yet try and tell those volunteers how to do it because they have taken a collage coarse or have book learning that told them how to do it. Those people have no real idea what people with the special needs are capable of because that book learning infers they are some how inferior people that you can only deal with by following a certain guide from some self proclaimed expert ( those that cant do , teach ! ) . THAT was the comparison ! You brought that comparison on by claiming you knew more than Doehead even without living here anymore( not playing the game of who started what first. I am just stating that Doehead was responding to that post of yours nothing more ). The others were right to call you out on it as the only way to take what Doehead posted as some joke against those with special needs was to be read into it what you wanted to .

B and S. Examples of peoples' attitudes and special needs children need not be brought into this discussion when making any sort of attempt at comparisons. I didn't do that, he did. Your damn right I called him on it as well. It was irresponsible and offensive.
You and your "followers" can think what you want and blindly defend him to the end. No skin off my back either way. I'm calling it as I see it, and regardless of how he, you, and others attempt to spin it.....what he did was wrong.
The fact that I know more than he does regarding deer policy, harvest trends, etc....has nothing to do with education or socioeconomic status. It has nothing to do with feeling that I'm better than him or anyone, because I don't. It simply boils down to common sense analytical conclusions based solely in facts. Yes, I said facts. Not emotionally driven conspiracy theories or Confirmation Bias.

The Annual Deer Harvest Survey Report has typically been released at the June Natural Resource Commission meeting, the second Thursday of every month. Last year they delayed it until July because of the free-fall of many metrics in the report, especially in participation, harvest and satisfaction numbers. I believe this critical report was released yesterday at the NRC meeting. Ridge, if you see this report anywhere would you post a link? Thanks Buddy for keeping this site informed, it is much appreciated.

I said they admitted to a low response rate in last year's harvest report. Because of it, they also stated adjustments had to be made to previous estimates to maintain statistical correctness.
