I think this weeks Mich out of Doors TV show was just a paid advertisement for the NWLPQDMA.
No one is complaining according to them. They live sheltered lives if that's the case. I have heard quite the opposite for the Charlevoix and Emmet counties. Mainly that the deer are nocturnal, but also no legal bucks.
So I guess MOOD-TV is just setting the stage for the mapr revote early. Much like our presidential race, there will be no winner.

Yep they stated they were heading up to the NWLP to see how hunters felt about the MARs regs and then the only people they talk to are the QDMers What the h** did they expect by talking only to the QDMA , certainly not any thing other than the QDMA's mantra of MARs being the best thing since indoor plumbing !

Rose colored glasses were passed out to all in attendance.
Is it just me, but did they say the word mandatory? I may have missed it but I recall them just saying "apr's". Not as offensive sounding. The PR machine is rolling. By the sounds of it I should be up there hunting. Even if I don't see a deer, I'll be happy knowing there are bigger older bucks around.

I kind of tuned out with the claims of not hearing from a single hunter opposed to the MARs. If they can look into the camera and lie like that there no reason to listen/believe any thing else they tried to claim. Hunters need to come up here and see just how the hunting is . The other perk to that is the 2016 season is the one the DNR will pick the hunters that get to vote from those that hunted up here , get a harvest survey , fill it out and send it back!

I will fill mine out by the 31st if not before then. It depends on whether I hunt again. The way I am feeling now is that I may pack it in. Although with the present cold and snow, this may be the best time to hunt. However my wife says that it will do nothing but warm up during the coming week.
The word mandatory was not mentioned as I remember. That part of the show was rather revolting IMO.

I did not see the program. I do not watch that TV Show because of their attachment to MUCC. I do believe that they are following the same game plan as the MS Forums. I wish I knew how to research post on here from the past. I commented earlier this year that the Pro- Mandatory people on M-S had stopped using the word "MANDATORY". They are not stupid but calculating and media savvy. The phrase APR's is much less threatening as many hunters support APR's on a personal, self imposed level but are adamant that they NOT be "MANDATORY".
I hope everybody has a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!

I hope everybody has a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year! I rarely watch it, but I caught it at noon today. What a farce. It was obviously rehearsed, they sounded like they were selling something on QVC. The thing is the only people beside the qdma people that believe that live in zone 3.

I agree that someone is lying when they claim they haven't talked /met any one that is not for the MARs. Plenty of hunters out there that are for and against them with the against them growing in numbers from what I am hearing from talking with hunters near me!

Wasn't that the point of the entire piece? To show the successes of APR's. Come on guys, stay on point with your message. Quit the whining and misinformation. It does nothing for your cause.
