OK Skiotter and Weasel, this is a must!
1/2 cup catsup 1 cup vinegar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (or Red Hot Sauce) 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste) 1/4 pound of butter
Mix ingredients together. Cover pieces. Place on the barbecue. Cook until no pink or nearly falling off of the bone. Repeatedly baste so that pieces remain covered. Careful as this can become addictive and you will want to spend all your time hunting!
I never tried this with squirrel but who knows it might just work. As squirrel is not quite as meaty as rabbit, a person would have to be more careful that it does not burn. Start with hot coals and have a spray bottle of water nearby in case the juices or fire flares. The old fashioned rotisserie barbecue works great but so will the ordinary flat one. Just turn it more with a flat one and watch that it doesn't burn.

Sounds good Ridge, wonder how it tastes on chicken?

We had barbecued chicken many times with those good friends. I can't remember if she made any changes to the recipe for chicken. Try it and if you want to make a change here and there, go for it. Some of the best things come from morphing things into your own recipe.

Some of the best things come from morphing things into your own recipe. And some of the oddest as well!
