Not cigarettes cigars or ganga, but small game, I do smoke many pounds of fish every year. The rifle River in the spring will give me lots of suckers, Huron gives lots of lakers, browns, and steelies I am hooked on smoked foods, even smoked bluegills, crappie and smelt . I buy Pinconning cheeses and cold smoke it, hotdogs yup, chicken, turkey yup those too. Now I want to try rabbits, I worry that it will be rabbit jerky, not what I am looking for. Anyone smoke small game? I was thinking soft parboil then soak in a Italian dressing flavored brine for a couple three hours then smoked to 170 ish degrees with water pan in smoker. Not trying to preserve for weeks at all just to keep in fridge for a day or so to take to work or camp and share. Anybody here a smoker, not a toker,?lol if so do you experiment? I even built a small smoke house so I could do it year around.
