I am still around , just been real busy getting stuff done , mostly with my apple trees and firewood( but have taken some time to pick a few morels ) Getting to the point I can finally get in some fishing. Got a couple trout yesterday evening.

Those look really nice! Fresh trout make a tasty meal.
The guys put up a bunch of firewood at deer camp. We looked for morels but we only found one false morel. The deer sign looks more active than last year at this time.

The fish have been really biting at that spot the times I have gone ! It was a rough year around here for morels also. got plenty for us but not many to give away to others. Best afternoon was about three lbs this year. Might be a lot of white ones this year but I usually don't go after them .
